Vision Expo Career Zone

The OWA is proud to show their support once again for the Career Zone Student Lounge at Vision Expo West. The Career Zone serves as a hub where optometry students and young professionals can connect with hiring companies and explore career resources while taking part in several dynamic events.
Beginning at 2:15pm, OWA member Dr. Beverly Bianes will moderate a panel discussion on “Life, Work, and Balance in Optometry.” Dr. Bianes is an optometrist and owner of Pack & Bianes Vision Care, part of Total Vision. The featured panelists represent major optical retailers.
The Passport Sweepstakes Drawing takes place at 3:00pm, offering chances to win exciting prizes; the OWA will be donating a gift bundle that includes a free student membership through 12/31/23 and two books designed to help kickstart your career.
At 3:15pm don’t miss the OWA’s champagne toast to students in optical! This is your chance to learn more about the OWA and what it can offer you as a woman about to embark on a new career in the optical industry.
